PMI Sioux Empire Volunteer Event: Serving supper at The Banquet

The mission of The Banquet is welcome the community to gather and serve each other, feeding body and spirit. The Banquet meal ministry was founded in 1985 starting with just one meal per week. They now serve 16 meals per week at two locations. The Banquet is a volunteer-based ministry, which means our meals are paid for, prepared by, and served by volunteer groups who come from Sioux Falls and the surrounding area. In 2020 The Banquet served over 200,000 meals, and at least 25,000 of those meals were served to children under 12. They go through approximately 15,000 gallons of milk each year. Please join us at this community event!

Continuous improvement and development is essential to community growth and longevity. During our hybrid Community of Practice event for March, City Manager of Watertown, Amanda Mack, will talk about project management's role in the initiatives she's been involved with in Watertown and other cities she's served during her career. Marilyn Monroe said it best "Give a girl the right shoes, and she can conquer the world." This is a philosophy that Amanda has embraced as she is well known for her fantastic shoes she wears while serving her city!
