About Professional Development Units (PDUs)
PDUs are measuring units used to quantify approved learning and professional service activities. Typically one (1) PDU is earned per hour spent in a planned and structured learning activity. PDU credits can be earned when PMI South Dakota Chapter members attend monthly and quarterly PMI South Dakota Chapter meetings. Upon attending an approved PMI South Dakota Chapter event, each member will electronically receive a "Certificate of Attendance" validating their participation in the approved event. These certificates also contain the Component Number, Activity Number, and other pertinent information required for registering your PDU(s). Each member is then responsible for going to the PMI website to report the PDU(s).
