In celebration of International Project Management Day, join PMI South Dakota for a panel discussion in Sioux Falls and Rapid City exploring how Project Management Offices (PMOs) operate across different organizations.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to building an effective PMO. Our panelists will share real world perspectives on how their organizations structure project management, how projects move from ideas into the roadmap, and the processes, governance, and decision-making that support successful delivery.
The conversation will explore topics including project intake and prioritization, portfolio and roadmap management, PMO structure and maturity, resource and capacity planning, governance and executive sponsorship, project methodologies, standardization, reporting and metrics, and continuous process improvement. Panelists will also share lessons learned—what has worked well, what they would change, and how their PMOs have evolved as organizational needs have changed.
