Katie Buchholz, MBA, PMP, is the North America Regional Project Manager at the Project Management Institute (PMI). In this capacity, Katie skillfully navigates operational projects across the North American region, while also lending crucial regional support to larger global initiatives. Before joining PMI, Katie spent 8.5 years with Sanford Health, where for three years she served as a Project Manager, successfully overseeing diverse, high-impact projects such as improving Foundation fund usage, managing the acceptance of a $3.4 million grant, and significantly reducing colonoscopy wait times by over two months. At PMI, Katie is proud to bring her experience to directly support the vital work of PMI chapters, empowering local communities, and contributing to the global elevation of the project management profession.
