Book Club: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team

Join us for a guided discussion of Patrick Lencioni's book The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable. Lencioni reveals the five behavioral tendencies that go to the heart of why even the best teams struggle.

Using parable style, Lencioni begins by telling the story of how a new CEO of a struggling Silicon Valley firm took control of a dysfunctional executive committee and helped the members succeed.  Lencioni also offers explicit instructions for overcoming the human behavioral tendencies that he says corrupt teams.

Our discussion will include a discussion of the dysfunctions pyramid and a cross walk between business and project teams. Five_Dysfunctions_Pyramid.png

The book is 225 pages and the audio book is just under 4 hours. There is plenty of time to dive into this material before the virtual discussion on February 14 from 12pm - 1pm. Even if you haven't read the book, the discussion will focus on the concepts of the book and be valuable to everyone who works with teams.
