You need people to manage projects in your organization. You need them to have the skills necessary to achieve the objectives of those projects. How do you teach and train them for success? This presentation will discuss developing the necessary knowledge, skills, tools and techniques into a training program for new Project Managers. Discussion topics will include project phases, scheduling, budgets, estimating, milestones and risk. The discussion will also look at the topic from asking the questions, “What do I need to train in my organization?” and “How much do my Project Managers need to know?” We will also look at ways to gain hands-on experience with project management skills by applying them to different scenarios.
