Richard Lefevre

Richard Lefevre
PMISD President
Richard Lefevre began his project management career in the research and development sector of the medical industry, where he facilitated neurosurgical advancements and techniques with surgical teams from around the globe, including Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Canada, Japan, and China. During this time, he developed a passion for medicine, science, and project management, mastering various methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid approaches. As a collegiate honors athlete in the PAC-10, Richard played rugby and served as team captain during his final two years. He brings an athletic mindset to project management, skillfully setting up his teams for success while managing complexities and leveraging opportunities. Richard's project management expertise spans a wide range of medical and scientific projects, leading to significant scientific publications and research grants. His work includes innovative approaches to reducing postoperative dysphagia and developing techniques for accessing the deep pituitary gland of the brain. In the early 1990s, Richard relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, after spending his first 13 years in Misawa, Japan, where his father served in the United States Army. In 2017, he moved to the Midwest to join Sanford Health, where he facilitated traditional projects involving mergers and acquisitions, software development, government programs, and COVID-related initiatives. Richard recently joined Eide Bailly LLP as the Director of Enterprise Project Management. Residing in the Sioux Falls area, he enjoys staying active and frequently travels to coastal regions worldwide, exploring diverse cultures, relaxation, and music.

Rachel Eite

Rachel Eite
President-Elect / Vice President of Technology
Rachel Eite is currently a Project Manager in the Sioux Falls area. She grew up across the river in the Black Hills and later graduated from Northern State University, obtaining her Bachelor's in Banking and Financial Services in 2019. She's been involved in financial services for 7+ years, including mortgage servicing, banking, and credit card organizations. In 2022, she earned her PMP Certification. Rachel is a newer east-river resident, moving to Sioux Falls in February 2023. Rachel is married with two young children, Charlotte and Hannah. She enjoys being outdoors, camping, and traveling. You may also find her and her family playing disc golf around the Sioux Falls or Brandon courses.
