The PMISD Community of Practice focuses on inspiring, connecting and growing people through the experience of others and strengthening the Project Management profession. BIO: Jeff is the Director of Project Management for Interstates in Sioux Falls, SD. He has been involve in Project Management for over 30 years and is actively engaged in the Project Management community. He is past President of the Sioux Empire Chapter of PMI and is currently the Board Chair of the Control Systems Integrators Association. He is passionate about mentoring team members and growing them in their experience. He is married with 3 adult children and now 3 grandchildren. He loves dog training and getting involved in shooting sports.
Event Content: Risk Management is one of the key functions of a Project Manager and often one of the least understood. In this Community of Practice we will dig into why that might be the case. We will also discuss methods for understanding risks better so you can build much better risk mitigation plans for them.
