Jeff Miller is the Director of Project Management at Interstates Control Systems. Jeff received his Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from SDSU in 1983. Jeff then worked in the Power Systems Engineering field for 14 years doing a variety of Project Management type work before moving to Interstates in 1999 where he took over managing the Project Management and engineering staff. As the company continued growing he shifted his focus to really growing the professional PM organization and has been in that role for the last 5 years. Jeff obtained his PMP certification in 2003 and has served on the PMI SD board in a variety of roles over the past 7 years. Jeff is also Chairman of the Board of the Control Systems Integrators Association (CSIA) and the past Chair of the Best Practices and Benchmarks committee that is responsible for developing and maintaining our industry best practices manual. Jeff is married and has three adult children and three grandchildren. Jeff enjoys speaking on project management topics as well as helping prepare PMs to take the PMP certification exam. He also enjoys mentoring the next generation of leaders at Interstates.
