The Lean Agile Community of Practice focuses on delivering knowledge and providing a virtual networking forum for lean agile practitioners. This includes anyone interested in, working in, or impacted by developments in the collection of good practices, principles and techniques in lean agile project management.
Facilitator: Joel Connot, PMP, CSM
Joel Connot is a Scientist with Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies, Inc. (SGT) and works as a contractor to the USGS EROS (United States Geological Survey's Center for Earth Resources Observation & Science) supporting LANDFIRE, also known as the Landscape Fire and Resource Management Planning Tools Project. His support of LANDFIRE has been wide ranging from mapping change on the landscape using Landsat imagery and using geospatial processing tools to characterize change to project/contract management and process development. In addition to education in Geography, he holds PMP and CSM certifications. He enjoys the challenge of using project management tools in science and program management environments.

Join us as we share progress and lessons learned on our way to an integrated project management system for LANDFIRE utilizing an agile value delivery approach. We are developing a management system that allows us to communicate LANDFIRE Program work to all stakeholders and team members on the project across multiple locations and backgrounds.
