Welcome to the 2020 PMI Summit with the Sioux Empire Chapter
2020 has changed our lives forever. We have been thrust into a new experience that has impacted everyone the world over. COVID-19 has etched into our thoughts and vocabulary, words with new relevance and and meaning , words we never planned to use to record our history. Some day, history will reflect the dramatic changes we've had to endure to sustain our lives. Many adaptations have been necessary to continue our day-to-day
existance.
During this time, the Sioux Empire PMI has changed the approach and delivery methods for meetings, events and presentations. From social distancing, to masks, to virtual events and presentations, the mission for the Chapter has continued to be employed; "to promote project management methodologies, enhance knowledge and skills, and add value to our membership, business, and the community."
The format for the 2020 PMI Summit will be different:
> Two particiapation methods will be available: In-Person and Virtual Event
> The Schedule will only have one track. Everyone attends the same presentations.
> In-Person attendance will be limited to 90 participants.
> The University of Sioux Falls COVID-19 policies apply to scheduled In-Person meeting and presentations.
* Masks must be worn at all times. Failure to comply may result in participant being directed to leave the Summit Event.
* Social distancing must be adhered to
* Hand Sanitizer Stations will be available
> Virtual Meeting participation is available only to individuals (No groups).
> All registrants for the Virtual Meeting particiapation will receive Zoom meeting instructions for attendance.
